Question: What is the best comic con to go to in England?
I’ve never been to a convention before and am considering going to a comic con this year, but have noticed there are quite a few, can anyone tell me what the best ones to go to are?

Question: Best time to pickup badge BLIZZCON 2009?
This is my first time going i heard you can pickup badge on day 0?

Day 0? You can pick up your badge and goodie bag as early as the day before, on Thursday. I would recommend doing it then so you can leave it in your hotel during the convention…but wear the badge of course.

This is the best of the Blizzcon 2009 Costume contest in under 10 min. It features the best costume-to-concept matches in my opinion. I made it slightly more dramatic, adding pictures of the costumes as the contestants walked out, tweaking some of the sound, and adding appropriate music at the end. I had to make some difficult cuts to keep the video under 10 minutes. I also edited the contest winner scene at the end so that the end was more dramatic with no corny jokes. I had a great time at the convention and recommend it to anyone, even a non-gamer. There are a lot of theatre folks there too, who enjoy costume design, voice acting/singing, and dancing.

Question: Where is the best place to park for San Diego Comic Con?
The Comic Con website seems to suggest you can’t park at the Convention Center itself (but aren’t there tons of spaces there?). I don’t really want to take the trolley or park in the Gaslamp and walk, anybody have suggestions?

I actually had good luck last year with some places by the baseball stadium. Looking at a map, I think the one I parked in last year was the 6th and K Parkade. It’s a pretty big parking structure and we didn’t have any trouble getting spots there in the morning. There is also a surface lot pretty close also. In the past I have parked in surface lots on the north side of the Gaslamp and taken the shuttle, but I really think the extra money for the Parkade was worth it. The shuttle stopped right outside the ramp, but it was only about a 6 block walk.

Also, I think in the past they’ve said the Convention Center Parking is full really early in the morning due to vendors taking all the spots.

Question: What is the best way to purchase tickets for Comic Con 2011?
I have never attended before. I assume most buy tickets from the previous comic con. Trying to get a jump start before they sell out =)

online, though as for the passes for this year, the single day passes didn’t go on sale till mid-January
